Delightful figure of Irma, maid to Bianca Castafiore, poor thing! We get to meet Irma in the adventure The Castafiore Emerald where the poor “girl” as the Diva calls her seems to be run into the ground with her everlasting demands.
Many of you may remember Bianca’s first appearance in the series of the adventures in King Ottokar’s Sceptre. This is when poor Tintin accepts a lift with her, now Wagner is sitting next to her, perhaps Irma is sitting up front with the chauffeur, Bianca does say in The Castafiore Emerald as she introduces her to poor Captain Drydock “Irma, my maid always travels with me…”
