Earth Hour

R copy

Earth Hour is an annual environmental campaign that brings attention to the effects of climate change by asking people to switch off lights at homes and businesses for an hour at 8.30 pm (20:30), local time, usually on the last Saturday of March. It was created by the World Wide Fund for Nature (W.W.F.) and is held annually, encouraging individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential electric lights, for one hour, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., as a symbol of commitment to the planet.

Let’s all switch our lights off!
